Basic Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

This is a very basic
chicken noodle soup that can be prepared on the
fly. You can call this a quick
and easy meal. It goes great with a grilled
cheese sandwich. This is the perfect cold
weather meal for the busy mom.

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 skinless, boneless chicken
breast - 2 cups water
- 2 carrots, peeled and
sliced - 1/2 onion, diced
- 4 cups chicken
broth - 1/2 cup uncooked pasta
- salt and pepper, to
taste
DIRECTIONS:
- In a large saucepan,
boil the chicken until tender and no longer pink.
Dice. - Return diced chicken
to saucepan with the rest of the ingredients. - Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and
simmer about 15 mins. before serving.
